Mike Turner, President Sabinal Capital Investments, LLC, formerly CycleProphet, Inc. is our speaker for June. The topic of his presentation will be “The 10 Must-Follow Rules for Stock Market Success”. He’ll talk about why it’s important to use both fundamentals and technicals, why selling is more important than buying, and how to build a world-class portfolio. He will also talk about how important it is to have a system that “times” the market to find better entry and exit points.
An engineer by education, he is a highly successful entrepreneur with more than 20 years in the field of systems development and enterprise-level software applications, followed by 15 years in the field of computerized finance and stock market strategies. He has developed stock analysis and trade-timing software that is used by some of the largest and most prestigious financial organizations in the world, including the Bloomberg Companies. Bloomberg has also selected Mike’s company to provide very high-end stock and index analysis reports to their largest and highest profile customers. Mike also provides education services to the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE).
Mike’s backgrounds serve as the foundation for his disciplined, rules-based approach to trading. All of his trades are based on solid fundamental, technical and time-cycle based forecasting analysis in which he utilizes his computer software system to scan the universe of stocks and ETFs to find the highest scoring equities that have the highest probability of success according to his quant-based algorithms. He utilizes his proprietary market-timing programs to tell him when to be in the market and when to be in cash.
