Sun City Anthem Financial Club Officer Responsibilities

President

  • Coordinates overall functioning and organization of the Board.
  • Schedules Board and General Membership meetings.
  • Prepares agenda for, and presides at, Board meetings.
  • Prepares presentation and emcees the monthly General Membership meetings.
  • Coordinates with SCA Room Scheduling on scheduling of meeting rooms, including providing layouts and headcount.
  • Ensures that the AFC is in compliance with SCACAI Chartered Club Guidelines.
  • Submits required reports and forms to SCACAI Activities and Lifestyle Committee.
  • Assures website is maintained and magazine articles are submitted on time.
  • Coordinates with SCA-TV.
  • Establishes a program committee to develop future speakers.
  • Gives assignments for club event staffing.
  • Forms a party planning and staffing group.
  • Sends reminder emails to members concerning upcoming events.

Vice President

  • Performs responsibilities of President when President is not available.
  • Coordinates setup of Delaware Room for monthly meetings including staffing.
  • Handles signs, tickets, and other equipment for club events.

Treasurer

  • Collects money for new members and member renewals, and ticketed club events.
  • Maintains bank account and signature cards for officers.
  • Reports to Club Board summarizing general membership meeting attendance, new members, updated membership list and financial data.
  • Maintains the master membership list including Association membership numbers, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, and addresses.
  • Maintains the Club Financial Records showing all income and expenses, and membership count.
  • Disburses checks for expense reimbursement.
  • Checks the Club mailbox at the Anthem Center.
  • Participates in audits of the Club financial records.
  • Prepares annual Club financial report to SCACAI.

Secretary

  • Takes meeting notes for the Board meetings.
  • Distributes the meeting minutes to the Board for review and approval.
