Anthem Financial Club Meeting for May 2014
This month our speaker will be Jeffrey P. Muhlenkamp, Investment Analyst with Muhlenkamp & Company, Inc. He is co-portfolio manager (with founder Ron Muhlenkamp) of the Muhlenkamp Fund (MUHLX), a no-load large-cap growth fund with almost $0.5 billion in assets. His responsibilities are primarily research oriented, including reviewing research reports and company financials; interviewing and visiting company management; investigating competitors and the general industry; and making portfolio recommendations.
His presentation will be entitled, “The Big Squeeze.” How taxes are squeezing your income; how interest rates are squeezing your assets. Linked are the slides that he has presented.
Mr. Muhlenkamp served in the United States Army for twenty years, retiring in 2008 at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the United States Military Academy in 1988, and a Masters of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University in 1999.
