The speaker for our January 2 meeting will be Sheri Valdez, a Certified Public Accountant since 2012. Sheri currently works at Ovist & Howard, CPAs, a mid-size full-service accounting firm located in Henderson, Nevada. As a manager at Ovist & Howard CPAs, Sheri is responsible for providing outstanding service to each client whether it be in financial statements, taxation, bookkeeping or management advisory services. Specializing not only in homeowners’ associations but also specializing in construction contractors, professional services, and other various industries, Sheri helps each client reach their maximum potential by providing the information they want and need. She works with a team dedicated to treat each client with professionalism, responsiveness and quality. In her free time, Sheri enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and two children. Sheri is a member of the Nevada Society of Certified Professional Accountants as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
