Recently retired, Mr. Wynn served for over 31 years as the State of Nevada Gaming Control Board's Investigations Division Deputy Chief for the Las Vegas office. He oversaw a 40 member staff composed of 35 investigators, who are finance, accounting, and law enforcement professionals, and 5 support staff. He led this professional team in the conduct of pre-and post-licensing investigations of individuals and privately held business entities that apply for or hold a gaming license in Nevada. During his 31+ year tenure with the Board, he has personally conducted or held oversight responsibility for the background and financial investigations of many non-restricted gaming licensees in the state. Such investigations encompassed analyses of financial and background information and resulted in generation of comprehensive investigative reports and related
correspondence acted upon by the Gaming Control Board and Nevada Gaming Commission in the conduct of their public hearings. These reports analyzed and evaluated the background suitability and financial viability aspects of the applicants, and frequently involved multibillion-dollar transactions.
