Mr. Barsano retired from Microsoft in 1995, with the goal of investing and managing his own stock portfolio. In 2001, combining his knowledge of investing with his software development expertise, Mr. Barsano developed and distributed a neural network-based buy/sell stock trading system, which was widely used in local professional day trading houses. In 2004, Barsano founded CoolTrade™ and brought the first robotic stock trading system to the trading industry. The software has been hailed as the next evolution in online automated trading. The company does business in 68 countries through five of the largest broker-dealers in the world. Robotic Stock Trading is an artificial intelligence technology referred to as the next generation of automated stock trading. In this type of trading, buy and sell signals are generated by a trading system automatically executed by a platform, such as the CoolTrade™ robotic trader. This platform is a form of artificial intelligence that acts like a trading surrogate and connects to the trader’s brokerage account. This allows for hands-free trading which enables faster execution, fewer errors and the ability to trade with high-frequency strategies. Traders and investors can create precise entry, exit and money management rules by utilizing the CoolTrade™ Strategy Wizard that allows computers to execute and monitor the trades. One of the biggest attractions of strategy automation is that it can take the emotion out of trading since trades are automatically placed once certain criteria are met.
